We need a broadcasting system which is as free as the press, not one that's held back by highly controlling requirements to achieve an unachievable ideal of impartiality. Airtime needs to be allocated to a pluralistic range of providers with better democratic accountability several steps removed from government and parliamentary regulation. News can be impartial, in europe news are mostly impartial, in american there is so much bias that anything that any news that aren't extremily conservative are accused of having liberal bias(apparently wiki and the bible has too many liberal bias for conservatives)
