Catholic church accuses BBC of anti-christian bias
By reporting all those child abuse cases it is apparently showing the church in a bad light.
Oh and the amount of religious tv is getting less.

Ahhh Didums.

Quote:Cardinal Keith O’Brien said the BBC’s news coverage is contaminated by “a radically secular and socially liberal mindset”.

Good. Oh, and Fuck You, your assholiness.

"Catholic church accuses BBC of reporting the truth" is more accurate.

Do the police also have an anti-christian bias? Last time I checked, fucking children is breaking the law. What does the Catholic church want? Make fucking children legal?

Maybe if they didn't have a bunch of priests molesting children and covering it up, sending them off to another parish where they can ruin the lives of other children, then this disgusting shit wouldn't be in the news, would it?

RE: Catholic church accuses BBC of anti-christian bias
We've been put in a trap here. The debate is not whether the BBC is biased, it's whether impartiality is even remotely achievable and if not, what the best system of broadcasting would be. We need a broadcasting system which is as free as the press, not one that's held back by highly controlling requirements to achieve an unachievable ideal of impartiality. The State broadcasting system represented by the BBC must be dismantled. Airtime needs to be allocated to a pluralistic range of providers with better democratic accountability several steps removed from government and parliamentary regulation. State regulation demanding non-bias needs to be abolished - we'll pretty soon find out exactly what has been going on in the Catholic Church if humanist journalists aren't constantly hampered by the State requirement demanding "balance".

If you want a larger context for this speech (which is taken from Murrow's actual 1958 speech), see what happened when Murrow did his JOB as a journalist reporting on the McCarthy hearings (HINT: it wasn't the government putting the pressure on). And if Murrow was complaining about that in the US in 1958...!

Please do not compare, you're trying to compare shit to diarrhea

EDIT:Full of religious mold, cutting off people that thank russians, people that say something contrary to the news at hand are kicked off

News can be impartial, in europe news are mostly impartial, in american there is so much bias that anything that any news that aren't extremily conservative are accused of having liberal bias(apparently wiki and the bible has too many liberal bias for conservatives)

That might work, only you CAN compare shit to diarrhea. For example, they both come out your ass, they both stink, they are both waste products produces by your body, etc etc.
