He tells my wife all kinds of shit when I am not around or on the phone, for instance anytime something negative happens to me it is because " I have turned my back on God". Fucking idiot needs to grow up and read some books other than the bible that are actually of some use. He recently told my wife that I am the way I am because "I read the wrong books and the devil used what I learned in those books to lead me astray".

Wow, he sounds like a massive prick.

Lmfao! Shinylight he is a massive prick and a huge as hypocrite to boot. In church he presents this image of holiness as if he is incapable of sinning, but when he gets home he insults his wife, beats her kids, curses up a storm, and pirates videos for sale, hell the list goes on.

Some of the most recent work and in fact the last three books I have read are 'The Greatest Show on Earth' By Richard Dawkins, 'Why Evolution is true' by Jerry Coyne, and 'Evolution: The First Four Billion Years by Michael Ruse, Joseph Travis, and Edward O. Wilson'. Read, educate yourself even further and enjoy.

I have read some stuff about evolution, in college, and before I was a Christian, but now I would love to read some more!! The Denver Museum of Nature and Science has an exhibit called Prehistoric Journey that I would love to see!

I liked "The Blind Watchmaker" by Dawkins.

Well, here was my former pastor's response to my atheism: "Dave, don't go this route

Psalm 14:1
The fool [a] says in his heart,
"There is no God."
They are corrupt, their deeds are vile;
there is no one who does good.

I didn't even respond to him about all the corrupt and evil deeds done by the church, or corrupt and evil things he's said.
