Fixed, I'm almost certain we'll see that usual back-and-forth play out over the next few days. That said, I'm surprised how quiet people have been over the internet about this so far, maybe I'm not the only one who is sick of the same discussion happening every time.

Right now it's a moot point however you look at it. They obviously got the wrong perp, the circumstances point to a rather rash decision rather than to a planned attack. If the truck hadn't parked there at this moment, who knows if the attack had even happened. Wrong time, wrong place.
So everyone's just speculating right now as to who and why. The only known fact is that 12 people have died and a lot more injured. Why is yet to be determined.
Update: Original suspect got released from custody. They are convinced he didn't do it.
