New Year's resolutions

Let's make 2017 a good year! Anyone have any new years resolutions they hope to keep?
I find it's a lot easier to accomplish goals if I write them down, and periodically review them to keep reminding myself.
Here are some of my goals.
Stop smoking
Stop going to the bar so often
Save money
Make meals and don't eat out all the time
work out 3 days a week
Read more books
Be kinder to people
Learn new skills

I was thinking of some diet type thing because I've been slacking a bit recently. On the other hand I haven't noticed that much of a difference on my body so I don't have much motivation.
Maybe the resolution should be to keep a check on my weight and if it gets over a point to go into action stations.

It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

1) Maintain recovery and sobriety;
2) quit smoking;
3) get gigging again.

Regarding no.2, I didn't know they had Mexican gardeners in NZ.
Based on the muffled grunts from the large, oddly shaped package under our Christmas tree, I have high hopes.
