I'm very glad theists join our forum. It's good to have lots of different viewpoints, for healthy discussion.

I have noticed however that the majority of theists we get here never leave the religious section of the forum. ...

So I invite you guys to get more involved in the wider community here. Talk about other stuff, and just have fun! ...

For those of you who already do this, I appreciate it!

Thanks for reading.

And, pretty much by definition, that's, like, our least favorite subforum!

Don't worry, my friend.  If this be the end, then so shall it be.

For practical purposes I guess I'd take Buddhism, because it has some useful aspects such as meditation.

Are there any that give magical powers? Like, being able to fly maybe? If so, I'll take that.

Lol right, it's like going onto a forum about motorcycles and constantly posting about how you want to smash motorcycles up. Sort of Tongue

I'd personally rate the philosophy section here just a bit lower.

I'll start: Rikky, what car do you drive?  What's your favourite junk food?

CL, tell me something about yourself that doesn't involve poo or aeroplanes?   hehe

Rob, this works both ways....  Rob, even though you're not religious, if you were, which one do you think you'd be attracted to the most?
I quite like the Waco one? That's the one where they can root anybody they want, right?   hehe

I think I've said a lot about myself here lol. What else do you want to know specifically that i haven't already mentioned here? I'm an open book! Smile

Well we never see much of you in area 69.   Sad

C_L, did you ever entertain the notion that god and the angels were in the same category as Santa? Did you ever think you might be an atheist the way mother Teresa did? Also, have you ever attended a Satanic ritual? I'll take my answer off the air.

Yes, I have questioned and had moments of doubt. I imagine every good and honest Christian has. But those moments never last long for me bc then I think about things that just dont make sense otherwise, especially what happened ro me several years ago, as you all know.

No I have never attended a satanic ritual. I think I'd be too scared lol.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Quote:What is Yogic Flying?

Yogic Flying: The most profound aspect of the TM-Sidhi program—for the individual and for society—is Yogic Flying. During the first stage of Yogic Flying, while the practitioner sits in the cross-legged lotus position, the body lifts up and moves forward in short jumps. One branch of the Vedic literature, the Yoga Sutras of Maharishi Patanjali, describes this first stage as “hopping,” . . . .

No, sir! Among the many powers Yoga can instill is the ability to be photo shopped at will.

Breathe, Rob. Just breathe.
