Being told that certain people's life style is a sin is kind of like being told they're not approved of by someone's secret bad-ass friend .. who I'm sure exists no where except between their ears. Not concerned.

Surely, if someone is doing a sin:
1) God already knows this, why does it need pointing out? 2) God is well equipped to deal with it himself. Why do we need your judgement too? 3) The person is already going to receive the suitable punishment after they die. Why does God need you to also hassle and inconvenience them during this life? In other words: if I'm sinning, it's between me and God. Keep your beak out. Just like if I'm upsetting Superman. You really don't need to get involved. It's not like I'm yelling abuse at someone who can't take care of themselves. Feel free to send me a private message.

Maybe it is because xtian extremists want to be a vehicle for god's will .. as that is determined in their minds.
That's exactly it, yeah.
The way some people take "insults" against God so personally is a dead giveaway. The apparently fragile emotional state of God is really just utter intolerance of anyone who is different. These are the real arsehole sorts I'm discussing here, of course. Most theists are perfectly reasonable people. Feel free to send me a private message.

If someone invokes sin in a discussion of morality I simply laugh.
When told I'm going to hell, I tell them I look forward to the look on their face when they arrive and discover I'm in charge. It's all rather silly.
It is incredibly silly.
But it makes me sick that people would worship a being that they truly believe has set up a place solely for the purpose of torturing people. This isn't just adults believing in fairy tales; it's revealing how much their morality has been corrupted along the way. Feel free to send me a private message.

Seriously. I mean, okay, I'll buy that you believe in your celestial dictator with all your heart, but don't you fucking dare tell me it's a god of love.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
--- There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.
Do giggle triggers count?

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
