They call them Siamese fighting fish here, too.
Betta splendens is the scientific name...Bettas for short.

We chimps call the place where the Bonobos live "Woodstock". Sometimes I will take a weekend off and go hang out. I tie colorful feathers into my fur and pick some mushrooms on the way there. I share the fungi with the Bonobos and we have a great night . Beating out rhythms on old logs and getting it on every 15 minutes. It is even more fun when the sun comes up and they recognize me as a chimp. They scream and grab their babies and go running off into the forest.  Great fun for all and nobody gets hurt.

I like to yell out "Don't eat the brown bananas!"
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!
