This idiot's ban doesn't ban any immigrants from Saudi Arabia, where most of the 9/11 perpetrators came from. Of course Saudi Arabia are our oil butt-buddies. To be sure, I don't support any Muslim ban but that makes something ridiculous even more ridiculous.

Germany and England could end up on it if they refuse to do as told. America first! Unfortunately you can only screw TV ratings if you are an official Nielson family with a hook-up that records what you watch. Instead, call your Congress members, send them letters, postcards, go to local town-hall meetings and voice your opinions. Attend a protest march. I drove 5 hours to be at the Women's March in DC. I call frequently. I have a stack of postcards on my desk and send a couple every day, especially to Paul Ryan who blocked his phone & fax and has refused to accept the delivery of petitions. I'm 71 and fought most of these fights before ---for Civil Rights (for anyone) and the Women's Movement. But I have lived to fight again. Although it sounds like it is religious in origin, one of my favorite slogans for the times is "Love Thy Neighbor - NO EXCEPTIONS." Too bad Trump and most of the GOP who loudly proclaim their Christianity don't follow that rule. _____________ "As democracy is perfected, the office of the President reflects more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their hearts' desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moran." ~ H.L. Mencken (Baltimore Evening Sun, 7/26/1920)
“The problem with those who choose received Authority over fact and logic is how they choose which part of Authority to obey. The Bible famously contradicts itself at many points (I have never understood why any Christian would choose the Old Testament over the New), and the Koran can be read as a wonderfully compassionate and humanistic document. Which suggests that the problem of fundamentalism lies not with authority, but with ourselves.” ~Molly Ivins
