The most liberal and conservative jobs

I thought this was interesting. A couple are pretty obvious, but it seems most just make you wonder why. Why is it that people who choose to do _____ for a living tend to be conservative/liberal? Is political preference tied to our personalities which is also tied to our vocations?

Quite a few of those jobs are more location-dependent in areas that would be far more conservative or liberal-dominated. Larger cities tend to have more liberal populations, while rural areas tend to be more conservative, for example.

The young liberal barista college student who voted for Sanders may become a republican surgeon in middle age. He wants free college now and later he will want to keep more of his salary. Self serving redistributilon of wealth now vs. self serving tax loopholes later.
