Hmm, strange. Either way, good to know he's alright.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I'm not nearly as active over at TTA as I am here, but there seem to be less people from the extreme right over there. Can't say anything about religion, since it's not what interests me much on both forums. May sound funny since this is an atheist forum, but I only joined up because I expected to find interesting people, not because atheism was in any way important to me. Leave me alone and I leave you alone, or live and let live, to make myself clear.

I feel bad. I hope he didn't leave because of what I said on the thread about the weekly immigrant crime list.  Undecided

I hope he knows I still like him as a person, just don't agree with his "damned ______" threads.

Without knowing what you said, I don't think he's that thin skinned. Otherwise he would have left when anyone disagreed with him. Pure speculation, but if he really left, it was because of the rise of the extreme right and the tinfoily crowd. Makes me tired also off and on.

I don't post as much there -- I read more than post -- but there are four or five hard-right members there who post regularly. The worrisome part is that they're not tin-foilers in the conspiracy sense, but they are extremely committed to their views, beyond, it seems to me, just the ballot-box.

He hasn't left a departure notice, so if he's gone he just slipped away silently and knowing Min that's just not possible, he would have had to leave with a rant to rival all rants, one to be remembered for years to come.

Post #4. It was a bit passive aggressive...

Guys, stop thinking about it. It was me. The details are private. Heh, he can return whenever he wants.

I thought it was odd that I was not seeing his posts anywhere.
