Question about Near Death Experiences

RE: Question about Near Death Experiences
Do you?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

do you believe this story?

Certainly not from a biased source as cited.

Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni:

"You did WHAT?  With WHO?  WHERE???"

do you believe this story?

Do I believe he experienced such things, sure, why not. Do I believe his experiences correspond to something real? That's the big question.

Quote:Don Brubaker was clinically dead for 45 minutes. During this time he experienced the glory of heaven - and he also journeyed into hell. This is the true story of one man's journey into the afterlife.

Two questions: a) What do they mean by "clinically dead?" and b) How do they know that it was during this time that he experienced such things?

Do I believe his experiences correspond to something real? No, I do not.

Quote:The crowd seems to be jeering at me. Why? Then I see more: I help a man, someone who has been brutally whipped and abused. The crowd is upset because I am offering assistance. But the beaten man has eyes that burn with love and compassion.

How do eyes burn with "love and compassion?"

Quote:I follow, stunned, I watch in horror as Jesus is nailed to the cross, the spikes pounded through his wrists and the sensitive insteps of his feet.

Through the wrists? I thought it was supposed to be through his palms.

Come now, that story has changed, and so too have the "visions" people have of christ in accordance thereof. Stigmata is changing to suit as well, fun fact.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'm just looking for facts. I want to know the truth to be honest.

Good luck to you.  Discerning between the mirror of the world and the mirror of our expectations isn't easy.
