That's a shame.
He was a mainstay of the smooth jazz/new age station we used to have here in San Diego that I used to listen to as a kid because all the cool kids' parents listened to it. Wasn't a real fan back then because I was all into pianos, keyboards and synths, i.e. Ray Lynch, Skywalk, Exchange, David Lanz, etc.. Not listening to him now, his stuff is more timeless than that. Meshes well with the old traditional jazz I do like now.
RIP to an underappreciated part of my childhood.
