They have congregated in various professions because historically jews were only allowed to do certain things that Christians legally couldn't money lending etc. They became over represented in banking because they were forced there by Christians.
Funny how the jews are in charge yet repeatedly get oppressed by mindless mobs.

OP title: Well, it's mainly that jews rhymes with to many other words. Shoes, chews, lose, booze, misuse, blues, news, .....
They are just not unique enough.
