The impression I get is that Trump has been watching/listening to WAY too much far-right news. He's adopted their ridiculous ideologies without acknowledging any of the intricate details that come up in reality. And they've been talking about how terrible Obamacare is for 8 years and how simple it would be to repeal, so I think Trump thinks it would be easy to repeal it. Hell, that isn't the only far-right talking point Trump has been repeating. Their claims of voter fraud have been repeated by him, constantly, complaints about illegal immigration are their talking points and Muslim terrorism is certainly a Breitbart talking point. Hell, I can't help but think, if you got Breitbart to publish a story claiming geocentrism, Trump would immediately issue an executive order, forcing all public schools to teach geocentrism. It really scares me how easily manipulated the most powerful man in the free world is and it's especially scary that he's being manipulated by such malicious people.
I think what sets Trump apart from other Republicans, people like Cruz or Rubio or Perry, the thing that makes him really scary, is this: The other Republicans, they'll talk a big game. They'll tell us Obamacare is terrible, it's bad, it needs to be changed immediately, but they have enough sense and political experience not to take any big, brash actions, one way or the other. Trump, on the other hand, is like a six year old with no self-control: when he wants something, he goes for it with no thought to consequences. So, yeah, millions are going to lose healthcare and millions more are going to go bankrupt over medical bills; Trump isn't worried about problems in the future because he's just focused on what he wants right now.
