Since I interact with perfectly normal muslims every day in everyday life as colleagues, students, whatever, the demand to list instances of "good muslims" is rather bizarre to me, as if you'd ask me to post examples of good brunettes.

I try to start a positive, non-controversial thread and there is always one person who has an issue. Would you rather I just go back to posting Breitbart or something? It's not even a "demand" either, let the thread die if you don't like it.
More a personal story.
One of my mentors when I was a student and then into my residency was a senior Muslim doctor who worked at my hospital. He took an upstart young surgeon and shaped me into the insane quack I am today. Still one of the smartest people I ever knew.
