Do you have AoE2 on Steam?
I play all scenarios at all levels. Chess for the blood and guts people. 

Its the only thing I have on Steam. I don't do online gaming, however. I have to take too many breaks to resume breathing.

Not really, I'm not a high-speed player, I need to take breaks for the nebulizer, etc. Erratic and annoying but respiration continuation is high on my priority list.

You're obviously thinking of Civs 5 & 6. 4's gameplay (even against the AI) is a lot more inense, even more so in multiplayer.

I'm no vreat shakes at MP (I'm not focused enough), but I'm part of the Realms Beyond community which has spent the last eight years playing some amazing Pitboss and PBEM games.

Question: How many villages do you create before going for Feudal Age? I tend to do 15 and another 10-15 before going to Castle Age. Division of labor depends on the scenario.

21 for a scout rush. 27 for a fast castle. maybe like 30 for a drush. 20 for a tower rush. Stuff like that.

But i mostly do a scout rush or fast castle.

I was certainly anenthusiastic AoE2 player. Not exceptionally good though.

That whole break the meta series is rather fun because it has some rather crazy unorthodox strategies. Including a scorpion rush.

This game isn't from the break the meta series... it is from a recent cash tournament. It is however very entertaining:
