Wait... so he releases tax returns that are from 12 Fucking Years Ago? And people are supposed to accept that? Sorry. Not sorry. He should be showing CURRENT tax returns - not some shit that was from more than a decade ago.
Just like he rode Obama's ass about the whole fake BC issue for EIGHT years - the Dems should rightfully ride his ass until he produces verified, full and complete copies of his tax returns for the last 7 years. Technically, you're supposed to hold on to your returns and any relevant info for at a minimum of seven or eight years because the IRS can audit you in that time frame. For those who accept these tax returns - wise up because the WLB still can't comprehend what it means to be honest. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.
It's not his tax returns, it is a small excerpt of them.
So he paid taxes in 2005. That doesn't cover any of the questions about his earnings, savings, charity, etc. And it ertainly tells us nothing about recent events, like possible conflicts of interest. This is a non-story, released just so his supporters have a piece of paper to wave around. The fact Maddow made a big deal out of it is utterly shameful.

Whether and how much he paid in taxes doesn't bother me as much as his insistent bigotry. Don't get distracted.
Well - those of us with intelligence already knew what a POS he is. We're just waiting for everyone else to wake up and smell the coffee. The man is a professional bullshit artist. What's sad is the fact that he still acts like he is campaigning for the presidency. He's never going to stop acting like a fucking five year old.

The 2 pages from the 2005 return were leaked to an investigative journalist / biographer. The "theory" is that Trump leaked those pages himself because they show him actually paying income tax. 
Trump got elected without producing them. There's no reason to produce them now (unless he leaked the one showing him paying taxes). People say it's a tradition for candidates to release their returns. So what? He ran as an outsider.
BTW, despite my signing the damn, I'd never assert I understood anything about my return or the one for the farm operation beyond the year printed on the top of the form.
I'd have to have anyone else's return I was looking at explained in great detail as to what is right and wrong about it. BTW, I'd really like to have explained to me the one for the corporation that is going to be paying my pension in 5 years more than anything. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
The fucker still paid 8% less tax than my wife and I do after getting hammered with the Alternate Minimum tax while making about 800x more.
