Ironically, Germany is right now one of the western countries with the lowest risk of electing a Nazi shithead. The Americans set up the system really well back in the day, what with giving individual politicians only limited importance and power. You should look into it some time.

What is it going to take to get Trump impeached? He has not only said very dangerously divisive things for the past year, but picking public fights with intel, and repeatedly claiming he'd stay out of family business, still commenting on family business. Is he really delusional as to think like he joked about shooting someone in public and getting away with it? What shark does this guy have to jump? It is insanity to claim Obama spied on him. That is slander at best and treasonous worth impeachment.

The GOP decides when Trump is impeached.
And they show zero sign of extreme discontent with him to do so.
Use President Clinton's experience as an example - the GOP loathed him and even then it took a while for them to muster the chutzpah to try an impeachment.

The GOP will never do anything, including not letting Russia name the commander in chief, to jeopardize their ability to pack the Supreme Court with the minions of the hard right. So far trump has played the game and is secure from impeachment. He would remain secure even if he is found to be the homosexual partner of Putin, so long as he would nominate another Scalia clone when the first centrist judge dies or retires.
