What does punishment unto all subsequent generations of serpents actually mean in the big picture of God's creation of ensouled human beings and UNENSOULED serpents ?
The passage is specious, doesn't jibe with the rest of scripture.

god didn't make anything. These are man made fantasy. Apparently two (or more) stupid men as the fantasy is so unbelievable. It's right up there with the Jonah fish, the Moses staff, insane pigs, ........ or any other bible magic.

Satan didn't really become the devil we know and love until Milton got his talons into him. All throughout the bible satan acts as yhwh's most hardworking, most loyal servant, doing all jobs asked no matter how shitty.
