Chuckle. What Happened To The 'Art of the Deal?'

RE: Chuckle. What Happened To The 'Art of the Deal?'
I know they must be a little worried bout how their base will react, otherwise they would have already shut it down. It's obvious they had no real plan, given they yelled about it for either years, and had no clear plan when Trump got in.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

Most of them probably didn't think the son-of-a-bitch would win, so why bother developing policy? They thought they could keep the fundraising wheels greased (and the base in a perpetual uproar) with another four years of unproductive bitching about Obama and the Democrats. Now they have to govern, and it's clear they haven't the slightest idea how to do it.

Can't argue with that. Nobody thought Trump would win, least of all Hillary, but she and the DNC fumbled the ball so hard that now we have to deal with him for four years. Unless he gets impeached or something.

Those are the handful of remaining "moderate" republicunts.  The conservatards hate them, too.

I'm actually of the opposite position here. While I'd say that even the Republitraitor leadership realised they only had an outside chance for the presidency, given that they knew they were taking 10,000,000 citizens and more off the lists, they must have known that they were likely to at least retain the two houses.

So?  They would have passed an ACA repeal every week secure in the knowledge that Hilllary would veto it.

The WLB changed the dynamic and now what they do matters.

Exactly.

And now what is going to happen is (1) they fail to get the votes in the House to pass this monstrosity / Trump blames everyone but himself / Ryan takes the fall / intra-party war breaks out for over the weekend / return Monday to familiar territory (bashing Obama and Democrats and getting nothing done) or (2) they pass this monstrosity / Senate changes it beyond all recognition / Trump blames everyone but himself / intra-party war breaks out for next several weeks or months / Obama bashing continues while no one takes responsibility for this fiasco.

Oh, almost forgot. Millions get fucked in the process.
