yeah.
Like I was with 'keeping' my doctor and enjoying suffering from 40% annual premium increase ($13K this year!) on an AFFORDABLE plan then having to switch to a plan with higher copays and deductibles since the plan I wanted was no longer available and now I quite likely will have no coverage at all in 250 days ?

Ah. I see. Can we all just split the difference and say the American System of Politics is broken beyond repair?

A large chunk of his Trump supporters will leave his ass if he decides to charge Assange and wiki leaks.
Why? Most of the people who voted for him don't give two shits about civil rights or personal freedoms, because they believe they'll be the ones wearing the jackboots and curb stomping the kikes, wops, niggers and other undesirables when it all comes out in the wash.

So, by Gallup's metrics, the Dems are still more popular than Trump, and, as of Today, Trump's outright disapproval ratings (55%) are higher than those of either the Democratic or Republican parties. (50 and 54%).

To be honest, that's more a reflection of the fact that as the US system currently stands a Republitraitor candidate would enter the White House even if he got not one single vote, than of any other issue. In a free and fair vote Clinton would have won by >7m votes.

Would you have had cheaper and better health insurance if the affordable health care plan had never been passed?

Hadn't been passed I'd still be with Fortis. It was unusable due to exorbitant copays, premiums, deductibles, and exclusions. First decent insurance I've had since working for defense contractor was my (first) ACA policy.
As I discovered yesterday, the ACA plan I have now has more out of pocket. And today I'm going in for an ultrasound. Third cancer scare in 4 months, and I'm looking at possibly having no health insurance in 248 days.

Bill Maher addressed this point last night. The essence of conservatardism is resistance to change so he may have nailed it.

So here is a guy who caught on.
Of course it is hard to work up much sympathy for this nazi fucktard but at least he is honest....unlike the rest of the scumbags.

Quote:‘Sorry I voted for the son of a b*tch”: Holocaust denying ex-GOP candidate rips Trump for listening to Jewish son-in-law
Quote:Beckett spoke with Art Jones, “who the Anti-Defamation League identifies as a Holocaust denier who has been dressing in Nazi garb and celebrating Hitler since the 1970s.”
“I’m sorry I voted for the son of a bitch, I really am,” Jones told Beckett. “I’m embarrassed that I voted for him.”
Beckett reported that Jones abandoned Trump due to the “Jewish lobby” and Trump relying upon the counsel of his son-in-law, Jared Kushner (who is Jewish).
Such a pity when your hero turns out to be a phony, huh?

538.com has a different take. The Orange Turd is sinking like a stone.
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/don...shrinking/
Quote:Donald Trump’s Base Is Shrinking
Quote:There’s been a considerable decline in the number of Americans who strongly approve of Trump, from a peak of around 30 percent in February to just 21 or 22 percent of the electorate now. (The decline in Trump’s strong approval ratings is larger than the overall decline in his approval ratings, in fact.) Far from having unconditional love from his base, Trump has already lost almost a third of his strong support. And voters who strongly disapprove of Trump outnumber those who strongly approve of him by about a 2-to-1 ratio, which could presage an “enthusiasm gap” that works against Trump at the midterms.
21-22% means that a mere 1/5 of 'murricans are fucking asswipes. That's somewhat reassuring.
