I don't expect to see its status changed by the Feds anytime soon. If that happened, there could be a lot of federal law enforcement money called into question. We certainly can't have that! Too many entrenched interests depend on the drug war for their livelihood to possibly give up their funding without a fight.

A lot of US states have went in the right direction, sadly my country hasn't as well as many others.

Its legal on state by state but the problem is federally speaking illegal as hell.

I have no secondary motive but you have Jeff Sessions lately talking about making the drug war a lot worse than it already is. 
That and here in Florida we just legalized it for medical use and most counties already made it legal for recreational use and you can own and grow it up to 2 plants.

The thing here is there is states now protecting marijuana smokers if the majority of the states legalize and there is a fed crack down it would be a pointless waste of time even now such action would be stupid.
