Had my second weight loss class today. Going to do my best to avoid Dumping Syndrome after surgery.
It doesn't look or sound pleasant and the symptoms are very similar to my IBS symptoms now.

Well about a week ago some of my clothes felt loose and it turns out sometime in the last few weeks I went down another underwear/shorts size. One more size to go until Medium.

Nice.
KG is in Seattle today to get her weight loss clearance for bariatric surgery. Whether she's cleared or not, we're going on vacation so we're going to be off the aggressive diet until we get back. If she doesn't get cleared, she'll need an authorization extension and she'll have more time. If she does, she doesn't have to diet for now.
I don't expect to put on more than a couple pounds in 11 days, and I'm good with that. Last year I put on 2.8 in 17 but I went in with no intent to exercise food discipline. I intend to make better choices this time, but I am still going to enjoy myself to the full.

I enjoy watching THENX on youtube as of late. It's an impossible task to look like the twenty two year old on that channel. But it is inspiring.

I'm thinking of jumping into the weight loss pool. I do a reasonable amount of exercise but also have a sedentary job, mostly sedentary hobbies, and love carbohydrates way too much. Have had fleeting success with a keto diet, but can't sustain that way of eating.
Looking for something that I can sustain, because it's a bitch trying to find jeans or slacks that fit comfortably without substantial tailoring.
Signed,
Mad as hell and not going to take it any more

Well, you sound exactly like me. I've had some success with taking a cut to the carbs, switching to veggie pastas and going with only whole grains when it comes to bread. I'm counting calories, which I don't exactly love, but it's easy with the Lose It! app.

I need to get into better shape.... Is it cheating to start before May 3rd; because I can procrastinate with the best of them if need be!
