The x-rays showed nothing (except a little gas) in his stomach. I suppose he could have eaten something funky, but I didn't see it. He was acting really weird when I got home from work this morning. He was struggling to even wag his tail..

I will. He's snoring at the foot of my bed now.

The fact that he's in deep sleep is good news at least...
He might've just had a belly ache?...
What's bloat? constipation?

Bloat is something common in larger dogs with deep chests. Their stomach will twist and block itself or a blood vessel. When he was pacing and restless, I was worried that's what it was.
Xrays showed no bloat.

SC, did they take a blood sample for analysis? What did the vet give him? Did the vet have any diagnosis, even a guess?
Anything in your/the neighbors environment that he could have gotten into? (I know it was asked before)

I don't normally take the old girl out, but the time seemed right to blow the cobwebs off....
(It was a little tricky taking this picture, balancing the phone with it's cover at 90 degrees to keep it steady and with a 10 second delay.)
The first one, I looked pissed off because it didn't get there in time for the photo, the next time I tripped over a chair, lol, the third time the phone fell.
Fourth time lucky...
Nice Pic! Now give the car details please.

No bloodwork. They gave him an anti-emetic to stop vomiting.
Unless someone threw something into my backyard over my fence, then no. He's never out of my sight if he's off leash out front.
