Lol I'm a Ford junkie. I don't usually care about name brands in my life but I do get a bit silly when it comes to cars. I made fun of my husband for months when he traded his truck for a Kia Soul (Although now I must admit it's nice to have a small car that can whip around Austin and save gas while still having my truck for the other stuff)
Mandys official rankings are as follows (lol)
Ford, Chevy, Dodge- the big three and only acceptable kinds of trucks. They are in order of awesomeness.
Toyota- well at least it's not a Nissan
Nissan- don't make me laugh
Everything else- is there anything else?
I've figured it out. Ford makes the best trucks, Chevy makes the best sports cars (Sting Rays are the most beautiful car in the world), and Dodge makes a hell of a mini van lol
Ok I can really keep talking cause I love talking about cars but I will shut up now. Sorry for the long post, I get excited
If you're talking '60s and very early '70s Chevy was my choice in muscle cars. But now, the Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger Hellcats with their powerful Hemis would be my choice of muscle car today. As far as trucks I've owned two Dodges, three Ford's, and one GMC. If I were to have a choice of trucks today for home use and for it's power I would definitely go for the Dodge Express with it's nearly 400 hp Hemi. Dodge also has a mid size high performance SUV of sorts, the Dodge Durango with its 475 HP Hemi. All I need now is the funds to buy one.

I get the fascination with a big car... the availability of space for any eventuality... but it just seems like a waste of money and waste of fuel, for most applications that you put it through - commuting.

I can't stand the Charger and Challenger, they are so ugly lol. Mind you I base cars off their looks not their performance unless it's really bad. I would prefer to just have a 60s Corvette and leave it at that for muscle. I had a 79 T top for a few years but divorce will make you sell shit so the other person doesn't get it lol.
I have a F150 and my husband had a Dodge 1500 so they were level playing fields and my Ford usually won out in comparisons. They only thing his dodge had was a longer bed but that is trivial. I do think Chevy and Ford are close enough that I would drive a Chevy too.
Lol my best friend was die hard Chevy and I was Ford growing up so we always had a fun rivalry going on but we always agreed "hey at least it's not a Dodge". Now that my husband had a Dodge and my mom's minivan is one I accept them. Still anti Toyota and Nissan though.
I don't care for SUVs myself so I don't pay attention to them and can't say I have an opinion on which is better.

Found On Road Dead seems more fitting.
I will never buy another Ford again. If I get a truck, it will be either a Chevy or a Toyota.

SUVs are a big no for me too except for the 475 HP Hemi Durango. I have a Toyota Corolla that belonged to my Mother. I have to admit, though, I'm not a Toyota fan either. My 6'2 body has a hard time getting into the thing.
