Poca, that little buggy has a head, too. Just underneath a bit of plastic and a valve cover.

Judi I love the purple hair. And short hair can look good on bigger women. I think of Red from Orange is the New Black, for example.

Likely. And less cast steel-y. More aluminium-y.

Looks like you're about to do a valve job. An inline six?
Eight, if I remember correctly. There were 8 rods and 8 rocker arms. Been awhile.

Only wish you were in the SF bay area.  I could give you all the digging you wanted.

Rebuilt a double barrel carburetor when I was 19. Before I was allowed to get my license, it was a requirement that I learn the basics: Change a tire, change brakes (rotors, drums, pads, calipers, bleeding etc), oil and filter change, complete tune up etc. I also had to be able to recognize the starter, water pump, know the different types of belts and how to change them: AC belt, Serpentine etc. I had to learn how to gap and change spark plugs, change air filters, change cable and hydraulic clutches and various other workings of cars. I have only ever been stranded on the side of the road one time and that was when my tire decided to develop a mind of its own and came off the car. It went up 702 towards the 695 beltway from Essex. Thankfully a friend saw me and took me home and called for a tow truck.

And stare at my ass while I did it. I have the drop on you, sir.

Tired + lots of filling out paperwork for my new job + sunburn = a latent desire for the world to fuck off for a bit and let me disappear into my t-shirt/quilt.
