19 dead, 50 injured, after terror attack
RE: 19 dead, 50 injured, after terror attack
Beta, what would be consistent about me believing Africa should continue to import Christianity?

"Other countries do stupid shit" Dude, Africa is a fucking continent. Also, I agree. Just because Africans stupidly allowed religion to pervert their way of life doesn't mean we should let religious people do it to us too.

But you're perfectly fine putting your worthless spawn at risk from guns, cars, rapey priests, or effects of climate change and all sorts of other things, that are convenient for you, even though the odds of those those things happening are much higher than those of some dark-skinned guy suicide bombing your f*cking barn, and even though your imaginary friend was allegedly very specific about helping people in need - regardless of consequences...

SMH...

And you call yourself a christard...

It's because of people like you, I get to laugh in the stupid face of any moron, who waxes lyrical about how "moral" and "selfless" christians are.

In all seriousness, though, I thought people knew what importing Christianity to Africa had done.

And yet, if you're consistent, you think Africa should continue to import Christianity.

Other countries do stupid shit  isn't a good argument for my country to do stupid shit.

If they hadn't been allowed in, those 22 people would probably be alive today.

His parents were not responsible, he was raised in England.

McVeigh was not a Muslim, Eric Rudolph was not a Muslim, the Unibomber was not a Muslim, Roof was not a Muslim, the Va Tech shooter and Newtown shooter were also NOT Muslims.

You don't get to chose who migrates to the west. You need some serious fucking help if you think it is ok to ban people and assume their guilt prior to them doing anything.

America's violent prisoners such as rapists and murders far outnumber bombers and are BORN HERE.

The only argument you can make is about improving security but that should never come at the cost of creating a paranoid society.

The only thing I can agree to is the ability to criticize and blaspheme ANY religion, not just Islam. I know the history of Christianity too, and it isn't all puppies and ice cream.

Yes, I base certain positions on fear. Yes, I fear a society in which your child goes to a concert and gets killed by a terrorist. I'm not apologetic about it, as it's common sense. European politicians have been saying that they'll just have to live with terrorism now. I don't want to live in that world if it's avoidable. So far, America has been affected less than Europe due to geography, and I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm not going to put my children at risk because you feel better about yourself for virtue signaling.

I let my son cross streets once I taught him how, even though his odds of being struck and killed by a car were enormously larger than his odds of dying in a terrorist attack.

I refuse to let fear change who I am.

Actually, yes, sovereign nations can choose who they let in and who they don't.

And?

The fact that there are necessary risks in life doesn't mean that we must indiscriminately accept unnecessary risks.

Why? If my neighborhood was becoming dangerous, I'd get better locks, maybe a security system, and start looking at places in a safer neighborhood. I don't see that it's virtuous to leave my doors unlocked just because that's what I've done in the past. Fear isn't necessarily a bad thing.

My point was that you're advocating makings changes to counter a risk so infinitesimal that it makes a lightning-strike look like a sure bet, and in the process advocating turning your back on people in dire need.

Clearly you're comfortable with that. Okay.

But that doesn't mean I won't speak my mind about it, too.

Stop talking as if you are the only one living in this country, "my neighborhood".....

No, sorry laws are in place to vet people coming in yes, nobody is fucking arguing that. When you are talking about people fleeing poverty or crime or war, you don't assume automatic guilt by proxy of source. SECONDLY you keep forgetting our bombers have been OUTNUMBERED by far more non violent migrants. THIRD, McVeigh was NOT a Muslim. Roof was not a Muslim, so are you saying their acts of violence means we profile all white angry people? Seems like you are cherry picking here.

FYI America turned away a boat full of Jews during WW2 they got sent back and most of the 900 ended up being murdered by the Nazis. And don't bring up the Cuba crap, because ultimately they wanted to end up in America.

Fear is fucking bullshit. Fear is what closed societies sell. Fear is what Saudi Arabia sells to their population. Fear is what Kim Jong Un sells to his population. Fear of the outsider.

Being safe and having watchdogs is fine, being so paranoid you cant have empathy for your fellow human not only makes you delusional it makes you tone deaf to your fellow human.

You talk like Frank Burns on MASH. Hyper nationalist and always scared.

You have more of a shot dying in a robbery or domestic murder or even dying in a car crash.

I am going to go to some pretty crowded places when my friend visits me, but that is not going to stop me. And you even missed the post where I quoted a Pakistani Muslim who had a van taxi who was AT THE CONCERT and drove 24 teens home for free. That interview was on CBS This Morning yesterday, he said "That could have been my daughter". Now you'd be an asshole to him a guy who wouldn't do what the bomber did? You'd be an asshole to him because of his name or his religion or origin? Nope sorry, that makes you a heartless person.

You don't lump entire groups together, you treat individuals as such.

My point exactly there is a difference between caution (which is already practiced ) .And irrational hypertensive red scare level paranoia . And if Beta male is filling his pants with his own urine over "his neighborhood" .Then I think he should direct his bed wetting behavior to people already living in "his neighborhood" .Because you yanks pop each other off left right and center .
