There's nothing people in power hate more than journalists actually doing their job correctly, and holding power's feet to the fire.
Poe's Law: "Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing."

10 Christ-like figures that predate Jesus. Link shortened to Chris ate Jesus for some reason...

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

There were several witnesses and none support Gianforte's story that the reporter "grabbed his arm."  He just stuck the microphone in his face and asks him about supporting Trumpcare despite the fact that x amount of people will be thrown off healthcare. He basically did his job. I feel the same about Bernie being grilled for adding his name to the letter by Congress telling the UN to "Leave Israel alone."

Gianforte doesn't belong in politics if he can't handle tough questions,

Sorry, I still think something else happened. Something more than sticking a mic in his face.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Maybe the biggest error is running in the wrong district.

A thug presuming to  representing a constituency of thugs might be more usefully elected in Chicago.

Conservatives: YAY Paul Gianforte literally bodyslammed a reporter who was doing his fucking job.

And conservatives wonder why liberals see them as abso-fucking-lutely despicable.

Conservatives don't know who Richard Spencer is. Liberals are the only ones who even think about him. He's the living embodiment of a strawman.

Spencer is quite attractive, hard for me to imagine ever getting upset with him for anything . . . .

And resolution today.

40 hours community service

20 hours anger management

$385 fine

I'm assuming the 20 hours anger management will be just enough to piss him off with no other discernable effect . . .

Remind me of all this equal justice under the law horseshit that we love to pretend exists.

Quote:James Wallace Kendall, 53, was convicted of simple assault, reckless endangerment of another person and summary criminal mischief.

Quote:Instead, Kendall will serve between six months and 23 months in jail, with 90 days of probation after, Franklin County President Judge Carol Van Horn ruled. The sentence is less than what First Assistant District Attorney Lauren Sulcove asked for, which was a sentence in a state correction facility.

Murrican hypocrisy, the one thing we are #1 at.

That guy used a vehicle, but i think your point is valid, in general. If a common person bodyslammed someone because they asked them a reasonable question, they would be facing jail time.
