Donald Trump opposes LGBT rights, so it only makes sense that they'd deny their application to have a float in the pride parade. I doubt a Jewish parade would want a Nazi float, even if it was done by a Jewish person.

Makes that claim harder to believe. Plus could we do without the nazi comparisons. This isn't the way I'd take it. From what I know of the Boy Scouts, they are granted government funding for some of their larger events. They are also allowed to recruit on public school grounds. This is the distinction I would make between these things. Parades like this are not tied up in the government in any way.

There's a difference between public use of space and government benefits. Anyone has the right to set up a parade like this so long as they fund it themselves. Honestly, if the US government stopped giving the Boy Scouts so many special handouts that other private organizations didn't get, I wouldn't care what their policies were with LGBT or atheists. They could exclude anyone they wanted then.
