America first is one of the derpist policies ever devised . You would never hear a 21st century Canada Prime Minister utter such an antiquated and isolationist line . Hell even Steven Harper probably they single most conservative PM we have had in 60 years thinks this is absurd . I don't think I'll ever get totally get Americans

For generations we've had it poured in our ears that we're the best and the brightest. No one can do anything as good or as fast. Even as our public schools started to slip from the top, to the middle to the bottom in relation to other first world countries, still the drum beat on, the mantra was repeated. Our parents repeated the lie and most of us believed it. When the Soviets trounced us in Olympic game after Olympic game it was because they use steroids, not because we couldn't beat them. When we lost the Vietnam War, we didn't lose a war, we pulled out of a police action. Any time America failed, it was the fault of someone else. We still have a huge percentage of people who think this way and act on it. I've been guilty of it, though it shames me to admit it. Related to the point... Do I still prefer America. Yes, for a variety of reasons far to numerable to count. But, I also accept that we are not the best at everything, just because, and I see the value and values that other nations bring. Make America great again Mr. President? I say it has been great all along. Return to the way of thinking noted above (after all, that's really what you mean)? I say fuck you, sideways, with a cactus.

I don't see how I have time to answer every comment but I'll do one a day or so. Please do not think that Trump was my first pick for president. Please do not think that I am happy with the tweets, and all the other nonsense. For me and many others Trump was the lessor of two evils. ( and not less by much) 
I read the entire op and I still don't know what conservative atheism is
