Happy Father's Day!

Here's a pic of me and my pops when I was a babe:

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Same for my neighbourhood

This seriously happened here - A few years ago I went to get my Dad a Christmas card from a card shop. They had literally everything else, shit like in-laws, Great Aunts, Cousins, all the distant relatives... I couldn't find any for "Dad" so eventually I asked the shop assistant if they had any...

"Oh no, we don't have them here"

[Image: S6kvLB5qAf-what-wat-wat-wat-wat-wat-wat.gif]

I was in shock. I'm sure many people around here don't know who their biological father is. I'm also sure some are probably related to theirs in more than one way, looking at them. Some of us aren't in either category though... Ma nistax, haqq...

Anyways late happy Father's Day to you all

Jesus, one of my cousins has a kid by each of 3 guys. And the one shacking up with her now isn't the father of any of 'em.

IANMTU, I'm pretty sure the father of her first kid has at least one kid with at least 3 other women too.

You know, we have DNA tests of an accuracy never before achievable in any prior matter subject to litigation/regulation. Maybe it's time to start putting some legal constraints on breeding. This is getting out of hand.

Let's start with a rule to be codified:

Ok, you poon hounding men, you can fuck all the pussy you want, but we will make a fucking example of you if you impregnate any woman other than the one you are registered too.

And women, same thing. Fuck every guy in your town, I do not care, but you have to pick one, and only one, to impregnate you as many times as you want.

Seems like a fair amount of restraint to me, and it's really not going to crimp anyone's fun. And since it is so fair and reasonable, and can be enforced via DNA testing to a superlative degree never seen before in law enforcement, lets start off with EXTREMELY severe penalties for not following this law.

I predict, with no fear results will ever contradict me if this is adopted, after an initial and very brief learning curve involving an amazingly small number of 'examples', there will be virtually a zero incidence of violations of this.

And the incentive to comply? Severe electric shocks to the genitals while being actually crucified and slowly immolated.

I bet around 10 the first year, and maybe one or two a year after that, and we'll have 99.99999% compliance.

I think all the Hallmark holidays are bunko. Biologically I'm a non-contributor to the gene pool, but I feel just fine about that. Plenty of humans around and the web of life needs the diversity right now. That said, I know the kind of care and sacrifice my brother makes and I'm happy to salute him and the others for that. Someone has to keep us in the game.

It's my sister keeping our genes in the game, though she's not continuing our family name. I'm the only male, my parents only had two children, which is probably why my father was especially upset about me being gay.

At least I have cousins up north who will continue the family name.

I need a clue.  As a self absorbed 'murican I know nothing of the parenting habits of Tasmania.  Sorry.

Does that mean Tasmania is like New Hampshire?  A place where ones lust rarely makes it past ones own family?
