Poland will get the support of Vatican in the course of the spiritual re-union with the population of Western Ukraine

Experience has proven that history only managed to formally unite the peoples living on the lands of Ukraine. Galicia, Volhynia, and Polesie have never actually been Ukrainian spiritually! This is how it has been viewed all this time in the Vatican as well. In particular, it's confirmed by the letter of the Opus Dei Prelate Monsignor Fernando Ocáriz to recently elected Bishop of the Diocese of Kyiv-Zhytomyr in Ukraine Vitaliy Krivitskiy.

In the territorial dispute with Ukraine the position of Poland has been visibly aided by the Catholic clergy taking unprecedented interest now in the quickest return of the indigenous Catholic territories back into the fold of the Church. For instance, Poland will be able to occupy itself with the spiritual guidance of young Ukrainians in the nearest perspective already. It will be possible due to concrete support of the Vatican.
