I plan to live forever

I'd only want to live forever if it involves drinking unicorn blood.

Living forever is not a practical pursuit, since "forever" can't be realistically achieved, however I feel that ensuring or promoting a higher quality of finite life for my fellow man makes this life infinitely more valuable that it already is.

Subtle point but you can't live forever because 'forever', like 'eternity' and 'infinity' is a destination that can never be reached.

I would love to live for a good few hundred years, possibly more depending how enjoyable it was. It's been said that the first thousand year old human is alive today and that with advances in technology carrying on at the pace that they have been I find it hard to see that being completely wrong, even if it's actually a few hundred years instead of the 1000 years suggested. But maybe that's just wishful thinking.
