President Donald Trump has just given Russia what he might call a "beautiful" gift. According to the Washington Post, Trump has decided to dismantle a US program that was arming and training some of the rebels fighting the Syrian dictator, President Bashar al-Assad. When asked about the report, the White House and the CIA declined to comment.
The decision grants Vladimir Putin one of his long-sought changes to US policy in the Middle East, and it does it in exchange -- as far as we can tell -- for nothing at all.

A Pulitzer Prize New York Times journalist used the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to obtain a 56-page legal memo which concludes a sitting President can be indicted.
The Times reports that the legal memo, “amounts to the most thorough government-commissioned analysis rejecting a generally held view that presidents are immune from prosecution while in office.”
Independent Counsel Ken Starr commissioned the 1998 memo, which was written by prominent conservative legal mind Ronald Rotunda.
“It is proper, constitutional, and legal for a federal grand jury to indict a sitting president for serious criminal acts that are not part of, and are contrary to, the president’s official duties,” the memo concludes.

It is WELL established in law that acceptance of a presidential pardon is an absolute admission of guilt.
I would say Trump's comment's on the matter come perilously close to a confession of high crimes and misdemeanors.
If Trump feels his staffers and relatives would or need to accept a pardon too, he has strongly implicated them in conspiracy, collusion, and/or malfeasance.

He's going to have to hurry to get exclusive credit for making ACA 'fail'.
My experiences with it to date have been less than stellar, and any continuation of the premium increases I have seen so far are going to be unsustainable if they continue. To me, the premium increase/'death spiral' is a very real problem.
And I also have to change insurance companies 12/31/17. Hope that goes smoothly, but that is one of those belief things we rail against here. If past is prologue, I'm looking at some huge cluster fuck on the horizon, I just don't know how it is going to manifest itself.

While no serious effort is now underway in Congress to impeach Trump, the results underscore how quickly political passions have become inflamed both for and against the outsider candidate who won last year's campaign in a surprise.
