Yeah, that is so clear, and yet Trump is suddenly behaving like they are friends which is really strange because he should know better. Trump is aware that every relationship he has in life, be it friendship or marriage, is because he bought it - except for maybe Rudy Giuliani.
So what happened? Why all the sentiments all of a sudden? Why would he think people would be with him if there wasn't any gain for them?
Maybe he is so desperate that he thought that it will be his last effort to become president again: that all Republican politicians will gather in one place to spite Biden's inauguration and then they will do something, like organize masses to charge on WH.
