Review for Jared Kushner's memoirs are in
Quote:“This book is like a tour of a once majestic 18th-century wooden house, now burned to its foundations, that focuses solely on, and rejoices in, what’s left amid the ashes: the two singed bathtubs, the gravel driveway and the mailbox.”
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
Devastating blow': Weisselberg’s agreement to testify could mean 'death penalty' for Trump Org.
Former Trump Organization financial chief Allen Weisselberg is expected to admit to a 15-year tax fraud scheme on Thursday and is willing to testify against former President Donald Trump's companies, according to multiple reports. Weisselberg, the former chief financial officer of the Trump Organization and a longtime Trump confidant going back to his days working for Fred Trump, is expected to admit to 15 felonies, according to The New York Times. Under the deal, he would agree to testify at trial against the Trump Organization if the company does not reach its own settlement, but not against Trump himself or any of his family members. https://www.rawstory.com/devastating-blo...trump-org/

As I understand it (and I haven't read the articles), the idea is that Biden would pardon Trump on the condition that Trump would never run for any public office ever again. This remarkably stupid suggestion seems to hinge on the notion that Donald Trump would never go back on his word.

The only way Trump should get a pardon is if he spilled enough beans in various criminal trials to have the majority of the republitraitor leadership put away for a long time and the party's apparatus smashed to shreds permanently.

Maybe offer to commute his death sentence, conditional on sufficient bean-spilling. Boru

Anyone else scratching their heads wondering how trump was able to get the most top secret materials out of the secure, probably transported to him by armed guards?
Why aren’t any of the talking heads asking this question RE: The Official "Damned Trump" Thread

A. He was the president. That goes a long way- who's going to tell him no?
B. Packing people were complicit, who probably saw things they shouldn't have- see (A) C. Some of those armed guards side with him, politically. It doesn't require armed guards. I've handled that sort of material myself. It should be locked up, and only divulged to people have proper clearance and can demonstrate a need to know.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
