Well, this was student/post student days. Had a few friends go off the rails a little due to overuse but most of us got through our twenties and thirties just fine and now have decent jobs, families, etc. Rarely indulge these days as a family man (must be responsible.. doh!!!).
A finite number of monkeys with a finite number of typewriters and a finite amount of time could eventually reproduce 4chan.
