I've never been Romantic at all ... I wouldn't even know how to be romantic. 
Love is just being happy and content to make the person you're with as happy as you can.
This needs to be reciprocated of course otherwise he/she doesn't love you the same.
That's all it is ...someone you're prepared to compromise your life with.
(And in return you get fed! Lol)

Aussie guys. They go from looking like Hugh Jackman and being all romantic to looking like Hugh Hefner, with the tonnage of a hippo shouting, "Where's my dinner, Shirl? Where's me beer? I'll watch a bit of footy and then we can (censored for younger viewers) if ya like!"

I'll tell you blokes a secret...
I quietly call the cat over. I let him jump on my knee, I pat him. He goes to sleep.
Then when I'm on AF piss farting around, I tell Pam:
Pam, can you get me an icecream and a coke please, the poor cat's on my knee sleeping, I'll get up if you want?
She quickly gets up from watching telly and gets my stuff!
I've successfully employed this strategy for 30 years! Lol
Now you guys know why I'm a cat lover! He he
