"Report" function
July 23, 2017 at 7:22 pm
Trying to create a post report and get the message "The selected reason is invalid." Report text was "30/30 external link" and just "30/30".
Is there something I'm doing incorrectly? Has reporting rules/procedure changed?

Sending in another report against me?
Fine, my warning level was dropping below 90% anyway.

I've been testing it out and it seems to say invalid for any reason given.

If I may lend some advice to all the members here, and this comes from the experience on other social media such as Facebook and Twitter. If you can put someone on ignore, which is an option here I do believe, use that first before reporting. Problem with swat reporting I have noticed, isn't because someone has violated TOS, but merely because they got offended. Read this website's TOS first so you don't end up wasting your time only to be told the admins are not going to do it.
Standard TOS with pretty liberal websites like this stay out of it unless it is spam, sock puppets or real illegal physical threats or threats of suicide. My personal way of dealing with those I don't like is to simply block them or simply not read their posts. But only the admins decide, not us, whom is or is not acted on as far as a report.
I have gotten mad at other atheists on facebook and twitter when they have "reported", gone back and read the post, and really it was nothing more than getting offended. The reason you don't do that even on other social media is it becomes a tit for tat game where they try to get you, or the atheist page you hang out on removed.
It is simply best to me to put someone on ignore and leave it at that. I never report anyone unless it is deadly serious.
