Alert function

This might be just me but I thought once you selected an Alert and then went back to the Alert tab the previously selected Alert would fade, indicating that it had been viewed. I'm not seeing them fade anymore.
NBD, only something I noticed.

Are you using the back button to return to the Alert tab?
