The Nero stories seem to be a much later fiction. No xtian writer seems to know shit about Nero persecuting anyone.


Decius and Diocletian date from the 3d century when xtians had reached the point when they could actually be a problem for the empire....a situation which did not appear in the first or second centuries giving us some hint of how this particular cult grew.
