I point out in many shadier occupation you make more money in the states. And strangely enough there are Canadians who like the America heatlhcare system .Not to mention many naïve kids .
The health care system in the US sucks, but the health care available here to those that can afford it is second to none. People travel to the US for medical care for two main reasons. Better care than they can get at home or reduced wait times for procedures. The cutting-edge cardiovascular, neurological and oncology treatments available here are as good or better than you can get anywhere else. Facilities like Johns Hopkins, the Mayo Clinic, the Cleveland Clinic and others are some of the best medical facilities in the world.
Americans on the other hand seldom travel to other countries seeking better care. We do however flock there in droves seeking more affordable care.
Save a life. Adopt a greyhound.
