True,

I have a masters in archaeology.

But, because i care about the truth, i read the works of experts in other fields.

I may not be at their level, but I have a grounding in assessing their claims.

In my field I have numpties talking about ancient astronaut theories.

I am not a biologist but have spent nearly 30 years learning about evolution.

I know when and why some types of people lie.

No. We expect you to not claim as knowledge things you do not know. If you'd like to decrease the latter, reading non-bullshit sources seems advisable, though.

A grounding is what I'm trying to do myself. I like to understand how the world works but I don't see the need to go any deeper than that .
I have to admit that I was ignorant but not because of religion but because I understand fast so this gift made me ignorant , thinking that I m too smart so I don't need to read.
