Trump is the president because enough people in enough places voted for him.  That's on them - not on people who didn't vote for him, or who failed to vote for you preferred candidate.  Dems don;t need new blood, ideally they;'d get more than that.  New blood with the same platform could only produce marginally better results - it would only sway those who agreed with hillary entirely but for some reason didn't vote for -her-.

How many people do you think that is?  In any case, I don;t really know that theres a -need-..as  such.  Judging by the popular vote, you could run Hillary or Bernie again with a fair expectation of victory.  Trump was a glitch in math, and he;s been eroding the glitch that propelled him to victory pretty much since it happened...so?

Yes we do. If Hillary wins, all they have to do is shout E-Mails or Bengazi. If Bernie wins that will make Hillary supporters sit out.

I do agree that key states matter, but that division still played a factor.

Right. I voted for Hilary while holding my nose. The dems have a little time to djinn up a decent candidate and get that person in the running. Maybe this time they'll have their shit together, but I'm with you about Hilary. And I didn't see enough to like with the indies.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

I voted for Bernie in the Primaries but no, I was not holding my nose even with Hillary. My only problem with her was she was not camera smooth like Obama, but I most certainly liked her policies. Hillary was a bit too stiff like Romney was and Gore was, but as far as her goals I was 100% for her.

Again, the only reason I don't want her to run again, isn't because I don't like her, I do. I don't want her to run again because of the baggage, undue baggage, but still baggage. I think if either Bernie or Hillary had won instead of 45 we would be in great shape now.

But putting either in, is far too much of a risk.

If Hillary won, they could shout Bengazi till their throats were hoarse and she wouldn't give a shit - nor would it matter.  She's kind of a stone cold baller, steady doing shit.

Not really, and what makes that obvious is that Trump won with those key states despite a division that didn't favor him.  Our system can be gamed...and while it;s nice to think that something more "serious" or "important" than games matter - if a system -can- be gamed...then nothing else matters.  It will be gamed and whoever games it will win. Maybe you guys should put the work in to do what the trumpsters did? That;s alot more feasible than somehow pulling a 180 on party and reps to draw in people like me, who see the dems and republicans as two products on offer by the same brand.

Hillary is a policy wonk in a country which has the attention span of a 12 year old and wants to be entertained all the time.  The country has the mentality of a junior high English class.

I'd like to think as Shattered continues to percolate through the national continuum of 'right thinking people', a consensus will arise that Hillary's organizational skills are inadequate for even being in charge of a church picnic, let alone a presidential campaign or, saints preserve us, a presidential administration.

What the FUCK is Anthony Weiner doing with the coleslaw ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

I'm most of the way through Shattered, and it does depict a Category 5 cluster-fuck. I'm in no mood for giving Hillary yet another chance to get her shit together in 2020. She's had two bites at that apple and lost, despite being the prohibitive favorite both times.
