The least wrong thing IMO would be to pull out. It's going to go to hell (even moreso) whenever we pull out. The only way to prevent that would be to stay forever.

You might think that a war this long and apparently pointless would have long ago attracted fierce public opposition, but it's hardly even a blip on the national radar. This is the one downside to not having a draft (I'm not advocating that we should): almost everyone can ignore this fiasco because so few families have any skin in the game.
We need to amputate this rotten limb and move on. We can't stay forever, and there seems to be little point in forestalling the inevitable chaos. Draw down our forces on a rapid timetable with a plan for complete withdrawal.
