The Nutty Professor was always one of my favourite films.

Yeah, I always vote Jerry Lewis's Nutty Professor as "funniest film of all time" in polls, so when I heard they were doing a remake I was thrilled to bits and hoped they'd cast somebody like Jim Carrey in the part, but to my disgust they plumped for Murphy, so I vowed never to watch it, and I never friggin will!

Huh?  I never had a problem with the telethon.  It generated millions of dollars for research, and helped to get people like me into the nation's consciousness rather than shoved aside or ignored.
