Trump May End DACA Program

RE: Trump May End DACA Program
Hmmm.

Boils down, AGAIN, to fielding good candidates, running taut, efficient campaigns and winning elections.

Sheesh, who wants to go thru all that ??

Easier to just P & M about it and hope to goodness it gets fixed 'somehow'.

Grrrrrr . . . .

Dodgy
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Easier said than done when wealthy corporations (who are now legally "people") and their opaque PACs and lobbyists are deep up the asses of Congressional reps. In a nation where we worship the almighty dollar, money talks.

It has nothing to do with politics. Just take a look at what Republicans in D.C. are saying too. [Many of them want it kept so they can revamp it into law] but for Trump he just wants to do something to appease his base.

It's not right to hold people responsible for events that are out of their control.

It's not even right to carpet bomb the adults who didn't wait in line, not just the kids, but yea.

Kid or adult, most of those coming here are not violent, and most of them are fleeing poverty and crime. The GOP is fucking inhumane. I think people know I have Hispanic families living on both sides of me, not one lick of trouble in the 10 years they have lived next to me.

You don't have to use race or religion to say, "Lets deport violent individuals". Nobody would disagree with that. But breaking up families and especially possibly sending kids back to a place they didn't grow up in, is sick.

Yeah, I would support a path to citizenship for those already here.

Every president of both parties for the past 50 years has done this. You will never completely stop undocumented migration. But the GOP today is taking pages out of WW2 Germany calling for cattle car solutions.

So...we're going to have thousands of people still living in the county but now, not able to legally work? What the hell good does that do anyone?

He's that stupid, sure, but has already alienated so much of his support even inside the GOP. As matters stand, they are politically wiser than he is and would almost surely stand against this, if for no other reason than partisan politics. No political party can survive without some minority support in America.

They may be but that doesn't speak to their backbone.  Do they have any spine at all, or does the national interest come after the needs of their own next re-election bid.  I think we know the answer to that question.

That would include a lot of very fluent English speaking people, deeply engrained within their communities and the American culture, that literally would have no place at all to go once they were moved to the other side of whatever boarder.

There would be way too much blow back for anyone to do that. He's shown to be one that is comfortable swimming up stream, but when the facts come out to him and everyone around him says no; even the most stubborn person tends to listen.

That would honestly be one of the imagination arguments that I would think the majority of Trump supporters would push back on. I'm sure there would be a few turds out there, but it wouldn't be a supportable push from any political figure's pulpit.

Far, far more than a "few."
