It is all looking a bit like a military junta isn't it.
It worries me in one sense, and I'm a veteran. I much prefer civilians being in charge, to the point that I wouldn't vote for Perot because he'd selected a vice-admiral as his running mate.
But I'll say this: those three generals have more foreign-policy experience, more diplomatic touch, and deeper insight into why America is a good place than Trump could dream of approaching. Be happy they're there. If he decides to kick off the Super Bowl, those will be the guys who tell him to fuck off. No one else in that cabinet has the spine to do so.

I can't either. He certainly has flaws, but pusillanimity is not one of them.
And -- I wonder what will happen to the markets when the stabilizing factor in the White House leaves? "It's the economy, stupid" takes on a whole new meaning when the barons of Wall Street vote with their dollars.
