The biggest crime in the history of humanity

Size is not the point. You would still have to make a deal with your enemy to insure whatever happens does not lead to a domino effect. Both friend and foe alike collectively have enough nukes to blow up the planet several times over. Diplomacy will be the only thing that prevents mutual destruction.

Unless you can insure our enemies wont escalate that is a bullshit point.

Actually, the one I trust least is Trump.  It's a toss up as to who is crazier, him or Kim.

"Biggest crime" fans should remember that the March 1945 firebombing of Tokyo killed more people than both atomic bombs. They should also remember that Gen. Anami, the War Minister, had declared that there were no civilians in Japan.

Atlas, the nuke is something we needed to do as part of learning and maturing as a advanced species.
Without it, we wouldn't progress and may die on this rock. But we're not there yet. We may still hurri kurri because of it.
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

Actually - The biggest crime in the history of humanity was the invention of god and religion.

I think we'll just find other ways to commit seppuku.

I think that stuff like kidnapping and brutally torturing, raping and neglecting innocent children and animals for decades are much bigger crimes.

I don't even believe that large amounts of people dying is much worse than one person dying.

One example of where I actually agree with *gasp* Stalin:

Only difference is... I don't think actually killing people is the solution and I think that's immoral for obvious reasons.

I think if only decent people who are going to become decent parents had children... that would be great.

And I do think the most moral world is a nonexistent world. I wouldn't wish to destroy the universe but I do wish it had never existed. Just as I wouldn't wish to burn any copies of Bibles or Korans as I don't believe in burning any books at all. But do I wish the Bible and Koran had never been written in the first place? Absolutely! And do I want to die? No. Am I suicidal? No. Is my life a waste of oxygen? Yes. Do I wish I had never been Born? Yes.
